RoH General Policies (Last Update: 03/01/2025)

Welcome to the Realms of Hell MUD! It's our goal overall to provide an enjoyable playing environment 
for anybody who deems to stop by here and play our game. Unfortunately, as we all know, sometimes certain 
behavior can get in the way of that for everybody. This policy document is a general guideline of our 
do and do nots, most of which are common sense for all gaming online. 

The DO NOTS:
1) Do not sexually harass people or use racial slurs here. This goes without saying.

2) Do not SPAM. There are several creative ways people can come up with to do this. 
   Please just don't do it. It's annoying. However, if somebody does, you can always gag them. (HELP GAG)

3) Do not exploit bugs. We try to get all of them, but sometimes we miss something. If you find one, 
   please report it! If you exploit them instead of reporting them, it can mess things up for everybody.
   This also includes things in the world that may seem really out of whack. For example, if you find some item
   that you can strangely sell for 1 million gold, or some monster that gives you enough experience to level 
   3 times by killing it, those would definitely be mistakes. Mistakes will be obvious. Just use common sense. 
   You should report these things ASAP to admins rather than exploiting them. (HELP MUDMAIL)

4) Do not be mean to newbies! They are the life blood of our game. We don't want them chased off! Plus, it's 
   just assinine to be like that. :)

Please DO:
1) Help everybody! This is just always a good idea - especially helping new players! :)

2) Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need to. If a watcher is on (HELP WATCHER), they are here 
   to help you! You can also always mudmail (HELP MUDMAIL) any of our admins with any questions or concerns.

3) If you find bugs or anything that's broken or out of whack, tell us! Use the newbie channel (HELP NEWBIE)
   at levels 1-4, the gossip channel (HELP GOSSIP) after reaching level 2, or use mudmail (HELP MUDMAIL.)

4) Join the RoH discord! Many communication channels in RoH have integration with discord. You can 
   connect to our discord by going here: https://discord.gg/shHaWJs

5) Keep watch on the news file which you always see on login, as well as the changelog, which records
   what changes are made as we update the game. You can always read the news file by typing HELP NEWS 
   and the changelog by typing HELP CHANGELOG.

Botting/Multi-Logging
Since we are relatively low in population right now, we currently allow multi-logging and botting. However, the 
following points should be kept in mind:

1) We limit the number of concurrent logins. This config may change up or down from time to time.

2) It is assumed you understand that you are always subject to the possibility of having your bots messed with by 
other players. For the most part, this is rare. However, should it occur, nothing will happen to any offending 
parties unless they are also flagrantly violating the general policy points above.
