General
Minotaurs are towering, beast-like warriors, the result of a long-forgotten arcane
experiment gone horribly right - or horribly wrong. Created by a twisted archmage
who sought to fuse human intellect with the brute force of a bull, minotaurs emerged
as powerful, battle-hardened creatures, possessing immense strength, a fearsome
presence, and an undeniable connection to war and chaos. Minotaurs are large, muscular
humanoids with the head of a bull, curved horns, and hooved feet. While they possess
brute strength and battle instincts, they are not particularly intelligent and often
struggle with complex thought, abstract reasoning, or deception. However, what they
lack in intellect, they make up for in ferocity, resilience, and an unyielding warrior
spirit. In combat, minotaurs are devastating melee fighters, favoring massive
two-handed weapons like great-axes and great-hammers. They are viciously aggressive,
using their natural ability to gore enemies with their horns and their raw physical
might to overpower foes. Many minotaurs find themselves drawn to Aramon¿s armies,
serving as Death Knights, Berserkers, or Clerics, while others follow Ares, embracing
his philosophy of bloodlust and battle.

Physical & Mental Traits
Minotaurs are imposing, standing usuall about seven feet tall, with thick, muscular frames,
bull-like heads, and powerful legs ending in hooves. Their horns vary in size and shape,
but all are capable of inflicting devastating wounds in battle. While strong and durable,
minotaurs are not the most nimble creatures, struggling with finer movements and delicate
tasks. Their lower intelligence means they often think in straightforward terms, preferring
direct confrontation over subtlety. However, they are not mindless brutes - they have an
instinctive cunning when it comes to battle, tracking, and hunting. Unfortunately, due to
a magical flaw in their creation, minotaurs possess the worst natural body odor in all of
Derlith. While they have long learned to ignore it, others - especially races with keen
senses - find it overwhelmingly foul. This has led to a certain stigma around minotaurs
in civilized society, though their fearsome presence usually keeps insults to a minimum.

Culture & Philosophy
Minotaurs have no central homeland, instead living in scattered, tight-knit warbands or
isolated communities. They prefer environments that are difficult for others to navigate,
such as labyrinthine caverns, winding canyons, or dense wilderness, where they can control
the battlefield and ambush outsiders. Unlike orcs, who value brute strength above all else,
minotaurs value both strength and tactical awareness. They respect warriors who fight with
honor and cunning, though they despise deception and trickery. They are fiercely loyal to
those they consider allies, but once betrayed, they hold grudges for life. In ancient times,
minotaurs were notorious for eating human flesh. While this practice has mostly faded, the
stigma remains, and many still believe that minotaurs are barely above ogres and trolls in
terms of savagery. Despite this, they are not universally hated - some civilized regions
tolerate them, and certain minotaur mercenary groups have earned fearsome yet respected
reputations. Religiously, many minotaurs follow Aramon, drawn to his power, dominance, and
promise of war without restraint. Others are fierce disciples of Ares, embracing his chaotic
philosophy of bloodshed, conquest, and honor through battle. However, minotaurs are not
particularly devout, seeing the gods as warriors rather than masters, and only following
those who align with their ideals.
